Beauties Keeper Bar Soap

$15.00

Who is the keeper of beauty? How does beauty manifest through us? How do we get in touch with true, pure beauty and bring it into the world?

Many things teach us of beauty; a rose that opens and blooms with pure perfection, the selfless nature of nature, beautiful adornments and truth. We know when we see real beauty, when we feel it. This soap was made with the aspiration to make the user get in touch with their true beauty.

Made with mugwort, yarrow, rose, and blue tansy as the main plants, we are aided from all directions. Mugwort is a plant who shapeshifts and takes on different forms. She is humble and confident in who she is and her medicine. She grows abundantly and is considered invasive, but her medicine is much needed. Mugwort is a medicine of transition, helping us break through limitations by showing us the way. She does not distract us from ourselves, but bring us to ourselves through dreams and conscious working. She helps us remember our beauty.

Yarrow is a powerful healer. She is anti-inflammatory and works well for skin that is prone to acne and eczema. She promotes wound healing and an even skin tone. This year I grew so much yarrow. Standing in the thick of her I found her humble fragrance to bring me calm and ease.

Rose is a symbol of beauty. Though she is a wound healer and boundary protector, she invites us to step into our softness, our soft hearts, our open hearts. She is a reminder to open, always. And be fragrant!

Combined with activated charcoal, this is a healer among soap bars. One who strives to return us to beauty.

Made in small batches on unceded Lenape land.
