Last year I experienced two miscarriages. The first one, my partners mother bought me flowers that sat at my bedside table and reminded me of life in a period that felt like life was taken from me. When the second one happened, I bought myself a bouquet and kept the flowers to dry.
Months later, I noticed the flowers and thought “I want to make new life with them”. Thus, these bars of soap were born, to turn death into life, and to remember a moment that changed my life forever, in the best way.
Each bar can be used to my liking. Some I use to decorate my house, others I intend to use. They are a continuation of a moment in time, in a form that we can keep as a dried bouquet or to repurpose and give new life to.
