Flower essences are just that: the essence of a flower. Each flower has its own unique medicine that can help us heal on an emotional level. They are made by letting the flowers soak in spring water for a few hours in sunlight, and then added to brandy to really bring out the medicine.
Peony is no small thing. She is a beautiful, robust, and full flower in both appearance and fragrance. Peony flower essence is used to remind us that we are abundant, that we have everything we need, and that we are full, amazing beings. She helps us slow down and not push when we already have everything we need. Peony is a reminder to receive, to let what is coming come, and to slow down and enjoy.

Cherry plum helps us go through fear and face it, especially through chaotic times, and if we are feeling uncertain. When anger and fear may cloud your judgement, use cherry plum to bring you clarity and calm your temper.
This flower essence is made from cherry plums that grow from a tree in my yard. She was given a gift of song and tobacco as an offering for her petals. Made on unceded Lenape land in ritual.

I take the flowers and soak them in local spring water for 2-4 hours in the sun. The sun helps infuse the essence of the flower into the spring water while I sing and offer prayers during the process. Flower essences can be taken internally or as a room spray.
As a flower essence, Geranium is a beautiful ally when reconnecting to our childlike innocence and wonder. She helps to pacify self-doubt, shame, and the feeling of not being good enough. She shows us the truth and beauty of ourselves. Use her to reconnect to who you really are, your creativity, your joy & happiness, and the motivation to be you in all of your glory.
